Farid Shafiyev: International community fully accepts new realities established by Azerbaijan
Baku, December 25, AZERTAC
The initialling of the draft “Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia” in 2025, as well as the closure of the OSCE Minsk Process and related structures, should be considered as a logical and successful outcome of the peace process initiated by Azerbaijan, Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Board of the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), told AZERTAC.
According to him, the international community has fully come to terms with the new realities created by Azerbaijan. “The country has already embarked on a new chapter with the United States in bilateral relations. Azerbaijan is developing the overall dynamics in relations with the European Union in a positive direction, with the exception of some negative aspects originating from the organization. The country’s historical ties with the countries of Central Asia are being enhanced within various institutions. Azerbaijan became a full-fledged participant of the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in November of this year,” the AIR Center chairman added.
