FC Qarabag's UEFA Champions League triumph boosts Azerbaijan’s UEFA rankings

Baku, July 31, AZERTAC

FC Qarabag's 1-0 victory over Irish side Shelbourne in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday has lifted Azerbaijan to 28th in the UEFA rankings with 18.375 points, moving them above Russia.

Russia now sits in 29th position with 18.299 points.

With 94.839 points, England comfortably holds the top spot in the UEFA rankings.
