FC Qarabag see off Sheriff to reach UEFA Champions League play-off

Azerbaijani football club Qarabag have advanced into the UEFA Champions League play-off stage after defeating Moldovan Sheriff 2-1 in Tiraspol.
Qarabag`s Ndlovu scored his third goal of the qualifying round when he put his team ahead in the 48th minute. Late Míchel header in the 86th minute secured a win for Qarabag. Badibanga`s goal from a penalty spot in the 94th minute was a consolation for Sheriff.
The two clubs drew 0-0 in Baku last week.
