General Manager of Federal News Agency (FENA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmir Huremović has lauded the Memorandum of Understanding that his agency signed with Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) as part of the 6th Baku International Humanitarian Forum. In an interview with AZERTAC`s correspondent, he said the MoU will play a significant role in deepening the exchange of information between the two agencies.

The MoU will see AZERTAC and FENA exchange daily news, photo and video content as well as books and archives.

Elmir Huremović, who attended the breakout session on "Disinformation policy - the threat to the modern world" as part of the Baku Forum, emphasized the importance of “promoting the fight against fake news, which is widely spread nowadays in the world media”.

FENA was established by the government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2000.
