FIRST LADY OF GEORGIA VISITS BP-AZERBAIJAN COMPANY
Spouse of Georgian President Sandra Roelofs visited Monday Bp-Azerbaijan Company.
President of the company Bill Schroeder underlined that putting into operation Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Main Oil Pipeline (BTC MEP) and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline played an important role in socio-economic development of the region.
Mr. Schroeder told of company’s activity, successful completion of BTC transmission capacity testing and large-scale projects being implemented in the country by BP-Azerbaijan Company.
Mrs. Roelofs noted that projects implemented by Heydar Aliyev Foundation under the leadership of Azerbaijan’s first lady Mehriban Aliyeva serve as an example for Georgia. She emphasized that social projects are also implemented in Georgia in accordance with the agreement signed two years ago with Bp-Azerbaijan Company.
The sides shared views on other issues of mutual interest.

VISIT ENDS
On January 14, first lady of Georgia Sandra Roelofs ended her visit to Azerbaijan.
At the railway station, Mrs. Roelofs was seen off by Chairman of the State Committee on Problems of Family, Woman and Child Mrs. Hijran Huseynova, Ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan Nikoloz Natbiladze and other officials.
