FIRST LADY OF GEORGIA VISITS HEYDAR ALIYEV FOUNDATION

First Lady of Azerbaijan, president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, Member of Parliament Mehriban Aliyeva warmly greeted the guest.
The First ladies had a private talk, and then continued the meeting at presence of delegations.
Mehriban Aliyeva congratulated Sandra Elizabeth Roelofs on successful ending of the presidential elections in Georgia, wishing successes and welfare to the people of Georgia.
Ms. Mehriban Aliyeva gave comprehensive information on the activities of Foundation created in memory of the nationwide leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, on the goals of Foundation and the projects it implements in the field of education, science, health, culture, to propagandize national-spiritual values of Azerbaijan.
Mehriban Aliyeva reminded the latest meeting with Sandra Elizabeth Roelofs, estimating it as useful for exchange of views, to realize joint projects to promote strengthening of friendship and good neighboring relations between the two countries.
Ms. Sandra Elizabeth Roelofs expressed gratitude for kind and sincere words, noted that she also heads non-governmental organization in Georgia, underlining the necessity of expansion of further ties with the Foundation.
Ms. Sandra Elizabeth Roelofs noted interesting program of her visit, the chance to closely familiarize herself with the friendly country and rich impressions from the meeting with the First Lady of Azerbaijan.

The same day, on behalf of the First Lady of Azerbaijan a banquet was arranged in honor of Ms. Sandra Elizabeth Roelofs.
