FOREIGN MINISTER OF TURKEY VISITING MOSCOW IN OIC DELEGATION

On May 20, negotiations have taken place in Moscow between the foreign minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and the deputy prime minister, minister of foreign affairs of Turkey Abdullah Gul who is in Moscow in staff of the delegation of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), correspondent AzerTAj reported.

Head of the foreign policy department of Russia has stated his country is going to advance the reactions with Turkey on a level of all-round partnership. Sergey Lavrov also has expressed gratitude to his Turkish colleague for support of the request by Turkey about granting Russia of the status of the observer at OIC.

During the meeting, discussed were issues of preparation of forthcoming meeting of OIC at a level of ministers of affairs, which will pass in Istanbul.

The delegation of OIC, which have arrived in Moscow, includes also representatives of Malaysia, Morocco and Senegal. It is necessary to note that delegation of OIC carries on negotiations with representatives of "four" of the international intermediaries on the Near-Eastern problem.
