Foreign Ministry: Another Armenian provocation prevented

Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said another provocation by Armenia was prevented as representatives of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, an illegal regime established by the Armenians in Azerbaijan`s occupied territory, attempted to join Costa Blanca Fashion Week in Spain.

"The Armenians once again tried to involve representatives of the fake regime in this event for their propaganda ends," said spokesman of the ministry Hikmat Hajiyev. "Our embassy in Spain appealed to appropriate Spanish authorities, the organizers of the event and also took other necessary steps to prevent this provocation." As a result of these measures Benidorm city authorities prevented the participation of representatives of the fake regime in the event, said Hajiyev.
