FRUITFUL BUSINESS MEETINGS OF DELEGATION AZERBAIJAN IN AUSTRIA
At the meeting of the general director of the Organization of Industrial Development of United Nations (ОID) Carlos Magarinios and minister of economic development Farhad Aliyev, on April 29 the, discussed were the questions of cooperation between Azerbaijan and ОID, including the questions concerning first and the subsequent stages of creation at support of this structure of industrial small town in the republic. The Minister has invited OID general director to visit our country. The invitation was accepted with satisfaction.
On April 30, the delegation of Azerbaijan was with a business visit to the city of Linz. Here, at organizing support of Economic Chamber of Austria was held a round table with participation of representatives of business circles of the country. Behind the round table, prospects of economic relations of our countries have been discussed. In Linz, Minister Farhad Aliyev carried out meetings with chairman of Economic Chamber of Austria Christopher Laietl and vice-president of the Supreme Economic Chamber of Austria Wilrikke Ramber-Cohler. At these meetings, discussed were priority directions of economic cooperation between our countries, was reached the arrangement on visit of special group in staff of representatives of the Austrian companies in Azerbaijan in the current year. Minister F. Aliyev has invited the interlocutors to visit Azerbaijan.
The same day, F. Aliyev has met his Austrian colleague M. Bartenschtein. During conversation of the sides, having taken into account that Austria is a member of the European Union and the rising role of Azerbaijan in region had exchange of opinions on opportunities of economic development between our countries.
On the last day of the visit, was held meeting of minister of economic development of Azerbaijan with representatives of mass media of Austria. At this meeting, he has told about positive social and economic changes occurring in Azerbaijan, has answered questions interesting journalists.
