GAS PRODUCTION ON RISE IN APRIL
The natural gas production target was hit in April in Azerbaijan. 414,6 million cubic meters of natural gas was extracted from onshore and offshore fields in April and it is 18,8 million cubic meters more, AzerTAj correspondent learnt from the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan /SOCAR/.
326,8 million cubic meters were produced by SOCAR, 316,3 million - by industrial enterprise “Azneft” while the other companies working in onshore fields extracted 10,5 million.
The volume of gas produced from the “Chirag” field increased last month. Azerbaijan International Operating Company produced 87,8 million cubic meters for a month, thus, beating the monthly target.
