Rector of Baku Musical Academy, prof. Farhad Badalbayli gave detailed information about the history and today’s Azerbaijani jazz music as well as jazz festivals being conducted in Baku.
The sides touched on cultural relations between the two nations.
People’s artist Farhad Badalbayli and Rasim Abdullayev performed composition “Shusha”, while students of Baku Musical Academy- Azerbaijani and the Europeans classic music. Later, young Azerbaijani jazz musicians Shahin Novrasli and Emil Ibrahim displayed their mastery.
In her turn, spouse of Georgian President played classical composition the piano.

The same day, a dinner was given in honor of Sandra Roelofs on behalf of Azerbaijani President’s spouse, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva.
