GERMANY SUPPORTS AZERBAIJAN TO JOIN WTO
He praise the economic growth of Azerbaijan but stressed that the main attention should be paid to the development of the non-oil sector, in particular, widening of the transport infrastructure.
The realization of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan project will allow increasing incomes of Azerbaijan, however, it is necessary to use the favorable geographical position of Azerbaijan, in particular, in the framework of the TRASECA program, P. Lorenz said.
According to him, interest of German businessmen once more proves the right direction of Azerbaijani reforms.
Germany has allocated €303,3 million to Azerbaijan. Of them 140 million is given to realization of EU projects. 130,3 million is given within the frameworks of the bilateral financial cooperation, 33 million - as the technical assistance.
