Graduation ceremony of Officer Training held VIDEO

On June 12, the graduation ceremony of the Officer Training was held at the Training and Educational Center of the Azerbaijan Army operating under the National Defense University of the Defense Ministry, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
At the event, the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Motherland, was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan accompanied by a military orchestra was performed.
The rector of the National Defense University, Professor, Lieutenant General Heydar Piriyev greeted the graduates and congratulated them on behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and himself on being awarded the military rank of "Lieutenant".
Lieutenant General Piriyev wished the young officers success in their future service activities, recommended them to set up their services in accordance with the requirements of the charter, to serve the Motherland faithfully, and to work responsibly in further improving the combat and moral-psychological training of the military personnel under their subordinates.
The young officers, in turn, promised to successfully apply the knowledge and practical skills gained during the training at their service places and to fulfill their duties properly.
Then, certificates were presented to the graduates who successfully ended the Officer Training, and the course leader attached the graduation emblem to the symbolic stump.
In the end of the graduation ceremony, there was a solemn passage of young lieutenants in front of the podium accompanied by a military orchestra.
