GREEK PRESIDENT TO ARRIVE IN BAKU
According to him, the Greek President will begin with visiting the tomb of nation-wide leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and the Lane of Martyrs, meet President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Chairman of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Murtuz Alasgarov and Prime Minister of the country Artur Rasizadeh. The negotiations are expected to result in signing several agreements on development of trade, suppression of double taxation, mutual investments protection and encouragement, cooperation in motor and air communication, as well as in scientific, cultural and tourist spheres. President Stefanopulos will also visit Baku Slavonic University, State Economic University and take part in the opening of Olympic games exhibition. In the framework of the visit, an Azerbaijan-Greece economic forum will take place, as well. The Ambassador especially emphasized that Konstantinos Stefanopulos will be accompanied by a large delegation of representatives of Greek business circles, who expected to hold intensive negotiations with Azerbaijani entrepreneurs.
Reportedly, the visit will end on June 22 with joint concert of Azerbaijani and Greece musicians at the Muslim Magomayev State Philarmony.
