GUUAM STATES CONDEMN ACTS OF TERRORISM IN UZBEKISTAN

As was informed to AzerTAj from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the GUUAM member-states have made a statement condemning acts of terrorism committed in Uzbekistan.

The statement says that the member-states, declaring the solidarity with people and the government of Uzbekistan, resolutely condemn the acts of terrorism accomplished in Uzbekistan that killed innocent people, and condole with families and relatives of victims. These tragic events have once again shown necessity of association of efforts and more effective coordination of actions in struggle against all forms of the international terrorism.

Noting struggle against terrorism of one of the overall objectives of cooperation, the member-states declare the intention to develop active interaction with the purpose of eradication of this evil of the present time.
