Hacettepe University specialists visit Azerbaijan Medical University
Baku, September 30 (AZERTAC). A delegation of Hacettepe University of Turkey has visited Azerbaijan Medical University to meet their counterparts.
The event, held under the “Health Sector Reform Project” of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Health and the World Bank, mainly focused on ways of improving medical sciences and conducting healthcare management trainings among health professionals to increase their skills and knowledge.
The universities discussed joint residency education.
Ibrahim Isayev, Vice-rector of the Azerbaijan Medical University for Scientific issues, doctor of medicine, as well as Rizvan Mammadov, head of University`s Department of Residency and Rahima Gabulova, head of the University`s department of International relations were present at the event from the Azerbaijani side.
Hacettepe University, as one of major state university in Ankara, Turkey, keeps contributing to social development and universal values in the fields of science, technology and art.
Based on academic performance, it ranks 1st among Turkish universities with medical schools.
Hacettepe University continues its activities with 14 faculties, 14 institutes, 2 applied schools, 1 conservatory, 6 vocational schools, and 45 research and application centers.
