Hamburg dismiss Bruno Labbadia after 18 months in charge

Hamburg have sacked Bruno Labbadia following their 1-0 Bundesliga defeat to Bayern Munich on Saturday, according to ESPN FC.
Labbadia has been shown the door by the German club after 18 months in charge, with his assistants Eddy Sozer and Bernhard Trares also relieved of their duties on Sunday.
Hamburg dropped into the bottom three on Saturday following their fourth defeat in a row, having started the campaign with a draw at home to Ingolstadt.
Labbadia saved Hamburg, the only club never to have been relegated from the Bundesliga, from the drop in a playoff against Karlsruhe after only weeks in charge in 2015. He then kept them in the top flight last season with a 10th-placed finish.
Hamburg will name Labbadia's successor on Monday with former Hoffenheim coach Markus Gisdol seen as the favourite to replace him.
