The second sitting of the International Diabetes Federation /IDF/ for Eastern Europe has opened at the Crescent Beach Hotel, Baku.

The sitting is conducted by the Azerbaijan Diabetes Society, International Diabetes Federation for European region and supported by the Novo Nordisk Company.

Members of the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly, presidents of the World Diabetes Federation for Europe, diabetic associations of Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, and Georgia will attend the sitting.

The event is conducted under the motto “Unity for good” in order to aid diabetics in Eastern Europe countries.

The sitting will close April 18.
