International travelers begin visit to Karabakh and East Zangezur
Aghdam, March 26, AZERTAC
A visit of world-class international travelers to Karabakh and East Zangezur begins today, led by Harry Mitsidis, a British citizen of Greek origin and the founder and head of the "NomadMania" club.
The delegation includes 79 travelers from 37 countries. This marks the largest group of international travelers to visit Karabakh and East Zangezur to date.
"NomadMania" establishes a ranking system by dividing the Earth into 1,301 regions. Having visited all 1,301 regions, Harry Mitsidis currently holds the number one rank worldwide. Additionally, "NomadMania" held its annual meeting in Azerbaijan for the first time.
This visit is of exceptional importance for promoting the liberated territories within the framework of "dark tourism" and for observing the large-scale construction and restoration work being carried out.
Between 2020 and 2025, international traveler clubs organized 15 visits to Karabakh and East Zangezur. This trip marks the 16th such visit.
