INTERVIEW WITH GEORGIAN CHESS PLAYER LELA JAVAKHISHVILI
Lela Javakhishvili, Georgian chess player, who is now one of the leaders at the international tournament continuing in Baku, gave an interview to AZERTAC correspondent.
AZERTAC: This is not your first visit to Baku. What can you say about our capital?
Javakhishvili: Yes, I have been to Baku before. I like your city very much. I am very satisfied with the conditions created for participants of the tournament. Its organization is on high level.
AZERTAC: You won the first international tournament in Shaki. How do you think which tournament’s level is higher?
Javakhishvili: There were famous chess players in Shaki tournament, however, I must say that this tournament`s level is higher.
AZERTAC: Who do you consider your strongest opponent?
Javakhishvili: You know, I don`t want to stress anyone. All participants are experienced and high ranked chess players.
AZERTAC: Georgia`s chess school is considered the best in the world. There are a lot of grand masters who trained famous chess players. If it is not a secret, who is your trainer?
Javakhishvili: Unfortunately, I don`t have a trainer. I train by myself. Nowadays, there are problems with trainers in Georgia.
