IRANIAN BANK CREDITS POWER LINES BUILDING IN AZERBAIJAN

The agreement on development of power energy cooperation between Iran and Azerbaijan takes particular place among the 10 joint documents signed during the visit of Iranian President to Azerbaijan, both Presidents stated at the joint press conference. They noted that this document would allow opening new jobs in Azerbaijan, and bringing Azerbaijan-Iran relations to a higher level.

The Iranian Bank for Export and Development has allocated 75 mln dollars credit to design and build power transmission line Imishli-Alibayramli-Astara and four sub-stations, press office of the joint-stock company “Azerenerji” told AzerTAj. According to specialists, the project will take two years. Expected tender winner will be announced in fall 2004.
