Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen on the sidelines of the 78th Session of the UN General Assembly.

During the meeting, the sides expressed their readiness to further develop political dialogue at various levels on a full range of strategic bilateral relations, as well as on international and regional issues.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov provided detailed information about the military-political provocations carried out by Armenia and the so-called regime it created. FM Bayramov underlined that the main goal of the anti-terrorist measures implemented in response to these provocations was to establish peace and stability in the region, disarm the illegal forces and dissolve the so-called regime.

Minister Eli Cohen expressed his country’s interest in developing comprehensive cooperation with Azerbaijan.

The pair also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
