A delegation of Japanese business people is expected to visit Azerbaijan shortly, Toshiyuki Fujiwara, ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan said AzerTAj correspondent.

Representatives of Japanese business will hold talks with the Azerbaijani side mainly on the non-oil sector and meet with local entrepreneurs, he said.

The Japanese businessmen are also scheduled to meet with Azerbaijani minister for economic development and other government dignitaries.

Ambassador Fujiwara said that there have always been favorable conditions to conduct business in Azerbaijan and emphasized that a number of major Japanese companies are operating in the country.
