KUWAIT READY TO RENDER ANY ASSISTANCE TO AZERBAIJAN
In his interviews to AzerTAj reporter, Minister of Religious Endowments And Islamic Affairs of Kuwait Dr. Abdullah Maatouq Al-Maatouq now visiting in Azerbaijan said in particular: I arrived in Azerbaijan on the invitation of Chairman of the Board of Caucasian Moslems Sheik ul-Islam hajji Allahshukur Pashazadeh. My visit is aimed to promote further development and strengthening relations between the two friendly and brotherly countries - Azerbaijan and Kuwait, as well as expanding cooperation between the religious Boards. In the framework of the visit we are going to hold a number of meetings and participate in charitable actions. We thank the Azerbaijani President for the permission to open the office of the charitable society Asian Moslems and creation of favorable conditions for its activities. For the ten passed years of functioning, the society has rendered aid to thousands of refugee families and IDPs. We know that the President of Azerbaijan has approved the new program concerning the refugees and IDPs. We will meet with Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Affairs Ali Hasanov to discuss the work we could do in accordance with this document. Then we will continue the aid. Kuwait is ready to render any assistance to Azerbaijan.
