Kylian Mbappe joins PSG on season-long loan deal from Monaco
Baku, September 1, AZERTAC
Mbappe, 18, initially arrived at the Parisians on a season-long loan deal and will join them on a permanent basis for £166million next summer.
According the Sun, due to financial fair play rules, the move has been a complicated one following PSG’s £198m signing of Neymar from Barcelona.
But they have now reached an agreement to bring him in on loan before he officially becomes a permanent member of their squad in 12 months.
The deal makes Mbappe the second most expensive player of all-time behind his new Brazilian team-mate.
The future of the France international has been one of the longest running transfer sagas of the summer with a host of clubs linked with him.
Arsenal appeared favourites to bring him to the Premier League two months ago before domestic rivals Chelsea and Manchester City joined the chase.
