LITHUANIAN INVESTORS KEEN ON AZERBAIJAN MARKET
Baku, February 18 (AZERTAC). According to Chairman of “Maximus Capital” Evgeny Zolotorev, Lithuanian businessmen made a lot of investments in Azerbaijan over the past six months, Baltic-Course site reports.
“There is a very favorable investment climate in Azerbaijan. This is an evidence of a stable political situation in the country. One of the main advantages is vast natural resources, especially oil and gas”, said Mr. Zolotorev.
In “Doing Business-2010” report, the World Bank and International Financial Corporation recognized investment climate of Azerbaijan as a very favorable among the former Soviet republics, said Chairman.
There are large opportunities to invest in sectors of infrastructure, communications and retail trade. The means give such returns, the investors of Baltic and Scandinavian countries could not event dream of, Mr. Zolotorev added.
