LOCAL COMPANIES WERE AWARDED AIOC CONTRACT
Barama was established in Baku in 1991. The primary activity of the company is construction. However, the company has its origins in the traditional silk industry of Azerbaijan; hence, the name Barama, meaning “silk cocoon”. Since 1991, Barama has executed over 50 projects. The majority of these projects were related to industrial construction, such as overpass construction for pipes carrying oil-related products, water and electric cables, laying water and sewerage pipes, oil and gas test separators, oil flow pipelines, roads, internal railways in a steel plant, pump and power stations, installation services, civil works, concrete structures, earthworks, and the provision of rentable plants.
For over 29 years, Top Housing Group has been designing and supplying pre-engineered buildings. To date, they have undertaken over 200 projects in 40 countries including Azerbaijan. Of significant note is TH Project Management’s design and supply of the TISA school project in Baku.
