MEETING IN THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE
As was informed to AzerTAj correspondent from the press-service of the ministry, having reminded about actions in the field of maintenance of human rights which are consistently carried out in Azerbaijan, marching on the way of integration to the European family, Fikrat Mammadov has noted philanthropic essence of the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev on May 10, 2004, on which 363 persons were pardoned.
Positively having estimated reforms conducted in the country, the visitor has expressed satisfaction in connection with the pardon of some "political prisoners", stating that consecutive acceptance by Azerbaijan the acts of humanism already became a state policy.
During the conversation, measures on maintenance of the rights of accused persons and prisoners, improvement of conditions of their maintenance, perfection of health services also have been mentioned, are given detailed answers on interesting questions.
At a meeting passed in conditions of useful exchange of opinions, taking part was the deputy minister of justice, chief of department Aydin Gasimov, other officers of the ministry.
