Member of House of Lords visits SOCAR

Member of the UK House of Lords David Evans has visited Azerbaijan`s state oil firm (SOCAR) where he met the company`s Vice President for Ecology Rafiga Huseynzade. They stressed the role of SOCAR-BP cooperation in developing Azerbaijani-British relations.
Lords Evans touched upon November 1 parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, saying they were conducted in compliance with international law and democratic standards.
