Member of UK House of Lords visits Azerbaijan`s Parliament

Member of the UK House of Lords, deputy head of the UK-Azerbaijan parliamentary friendship group Baroness Zahida Manzoor, who is in Azerbaijan to attend the 4th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, has visited the Azerbaijani Parliament to meet with its speaker Ogtay Asadov.
Asadov noted that the Forum on Intercultural Dialogue makes significant contributions to the development of international cooperation. He praised Baroness Zahida Manzoor's participation in the forum. The speaker of the Milli Majlis hailed the importance of these visits in developing interparliamentary relations.
Saying she is a close friend of Azerbaijan, Baroness Zahida Manzoor expressed her confidence that the UK-Azerbaijan interparliamentary cooperation will further develop.
The two also exchanged views on a number of other issues of mutual interest.
