MILLI MAJLIS PROPOSES AMNESTY ON BIRTHDAY OF NATIONAL LEADER

At the 20 April session of Azerbaijan Parliament, MP Siyavush Novruzov made a proposal on possible amnesty on the occasion of the birthday of the national leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and making a Draft on this.

As AzerTAj correspondent reported, Chairman of Milli Majlis Murtuz Alaskarov positively treated the made proposals. He said: “Up to now, there were issued 7 acts on pardoning. Announcement of next act of amnesty on the birthday of esteemed Heydar Aliyev is worthy of high assessment”.

The Speaker stated that on behalf of his name and of the Members of Parliament he would address President Ilham Aliyev with proposals on preparation of Draft of new act of amnesty and sending it to the Milli Majlis.

Parliamentarians approved the said proposal.
