Minister-in-office of agriculture Irshad Aliyev has visited the regions of Azerbaijan.

The aim is to learn of how the tasks regarding the “State Program on Socio-economic Development of Regions of Azerbaijan Republic” are being fulfilled.

The first meeting took place at the Kurdamir agrarian scientific center. Management of the Kurdamur divisional agriculture department, farmers, entrepreneurs and scholars, attended the meeting. I. Aliyev and director of Agrarian center Asad Musayev reminded of the important tasks set forth in the State Program and got interested in workers’ problems. Meeting participants familiarized themselves with the cotton and cereal lands.

To settle problems raised by farmers and entrepreneurs, Irshad Aliyev gave instruction to heads of Ministry’s departments. The delegation watched the vine plantation of scholar winegrower Famil Sharifov and leant of the new method of vine cultivation. Irshad Aliyev was also curious about the storage conditions of 25 milky sheep delivered from Turkey at the Research Cattle Breeding Institute in Khanlar province, scientific researches conducted at the Ganja agrarian center etc.
