MM SPEAKER MEETS WITH ITF PRESIDENT
Milli Majlis chairman, President of the Azerbaijan Tennis Federation, Ogtay Asadov met Tuesday with President of the International Tennis Federation Francesco Ricci Bitti and President of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpishev.
O. Asadov told of the successes scored by Azerbaijani athletes over the recent period. He said the Head of State, President of the National Olympic Committee, Ilham Aliyev keeps sports development in focus of his attention.
Asadov congratulated President of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpishev on his 60th birthday.
ITF President said he is satisfied with his visit to Azerbaijan. According to him, the aim of his visit is to strengthen ties with the Azerbaijan Tennis Federation.
