On occasion of 81st birthday of national leader Heydar Aliyev, Embassy of Azerbaijan to Georgia held arrangement in Georgian State Conservatory.

Ambassador Ramiz Hasanov told on life and activity of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, his great merits before the Azerbaijan people. He noted that thanks Heydar Aliyev’s political role and foresight, the Azerbaijan-Georgia relations were raised on new level, large oil, gas and transport projects realized. The Ambassador expressed confidence that relations of neighborhood and strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan would be further developed.

Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Polad Bulbuloglu noted that Heydar Aliyev was world-known political figure, and told on his attitude to Georgia and concern of Azerbaijanis residing in this country.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of Georgian authority, diplomatic corps accredited in Tbilisi, Azerbaijanis residing in Georgia and ex-President of Georgia Eduard Shevarnadze.

In conclusion, the State Camera Orchestra of Azerbaijan gave concert.
