Baku, 25 December (AZERTAC). Flying weekly on Mondays, the first plane Boeing 757-200 will depart from Moscow Domodedovo airport on December 28 at 10.40am thus launching the direct flights between Russia’s capital and Azerbaijan city Lankaran on the south coast of the Caspian Sea.

Boeing 757-200, belonging to Russian VIM-Airlines, will land at Lankaran airport at 14.00pm and depart for Moscow the same day at 16.00pm, Head of the Lankaran airport Anar Akhundov said.

Beginning from March 2010 the service will operate twice a week - on Mondays and Fridays. The tickets are offered at 185 AZN.
