NEXT MEETING OF PA BSEC ECONOMIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE DUE IN BAKU
The Economic Affairs Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PA BSEC) will hold its next meeting in Baku on September 9-10.
The meeting will focus on cooperation between the Black Sea region and World Trade Organization.
Member of the Azerbaijan Milli Majlis (Parliament), PA BSEC Vise-President Asaf Hajiyev said Azerbaijan`s image and role in BSEC has recently increased very much. He underscored the country was one of Europe`s energy supplier. “Oil-gas projects, rich natural potential, human recourses have increased Azerbaijan`s role not only in the Caspian, but also on the Black Sea region” he added,
According to Mr. Hajiyev, PA BSEC meetings mainly focus on energy-related issues.
