Serdar Berdimuhamedov: Six-party format opens up new significant opportunities

“The six-party format of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan opens up new significant opportunities for strengthening cooperation, peace, and stability,” President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov said at the conclusion of the 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Central Asia, held in Turkmenbashi.
“The meeting demonstrated the highest level of mutual understanding and trust among the heads of state, as well as their determination to work together for the development, progress, and prosperity of our peoples and to contribute to strengthening peace, stability, and security at both the regional and global levels,” Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized.
He noted that, as part of preparations for the current meeting of the heads of state, the delegations had agreed on several issues concerning the further development of cooperation.
The President of Turkmenistan also announced that the 9th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan and Central Asia is scheduled to take place in Azerbaijan in 2027. On this occasion, Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the President of Azerbaijan.
“The six-party format of the Consultative Meeting opens up new significant opportunities to achieve these goals. The results of today’s discussions have clearly demonstrated this,” the President of Turkmenistan stressed.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan is providing comprehensive assistance and the necessary support for the successful preparation and holding of the meeting, attaching particular importance to further strengthening peace, stability, and good-neighborly relations.
