OCCUPATION OF AZERBAIJAN’S TERRITORIES CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY, OTTO HAUSER
During the International Conference “For Democracy and Stability: New Opportunities for Cooperation” held in Baku, former German Secretary of State Otto Hauser said occupation of 20 percent of Azerbaijan’s territories by Armenia is a crime against humanity, stressing that violation of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan is inadmissible.
Azerbaijan has established cooperation with Europe. The country has achieved great success in democracy, said Mr. Hauser.
He noted nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev had played significant role in strengthening of Azerbaijan’s independence, as well as building democracy in the country.
According to him, Azerbaijan is a member of the European Council, and the country is committed to European values.
He emphasized as Azerbaijan takes an active part in Europe’s energy security, the European countries and the Unites States should be active in solving Azerbaijan’s problems.
O. Hauser called on the European countries and the U.S. to take urgent steps for liberation of Azerbaijan’s occupied territories.
