In honor of the Head of State, a Guard of Honor was line up in front of the palace.
Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev was greeted here by President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma with great sincerity and respect.
Commander of the Guard of Honor reported to the Head of the Azerbaijan State.
State anthems of Azerbaijan and Ukraine were performed; artillery volley was fired in honor of the President of Azerbaijan.
The Heads of State passed along the Guard of Honor. President Ilham Aliyev saluted the Ukrainian soldiers.
The Presidents were photographed in memory of this meeting.
State and Government officials of Ukraine were introduced to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, and those of Azerbaijan to President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma.
