OFFICIAL WELCOMING CEREMONY AT PRESIDENTIAL PALACE
In honor of the distinguished guest, a Guard of Honor was lined up on the square in front of the Palace. Commander of the Guard of Honor reported to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Orchestra of the Azerbaijan Defense Ministry performed state anthems of Azerbaijan and Iran.
Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Mohammad Khatami passed along the Guard of Honor. The Iranian leader greeted Azerbaijani soldiers.
Azerbaijan State and Government officials were introduced to President of Iran Mohammad Khatami, members of the Iranian delegation to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
