Commissioner for human rights Elmira Suleymanova met with deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Republic, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs /SCRI/ Ali Hasanov. The Chairman noted during the meeting that issues concerning improvement of displaced people’s living conditions and solving other social problems are in the constant focus of the state’s and personally President Ilham Aliyev’s attention.

The Ombudswoman let the Chairman know that while meeting in Fizuli province with refugees and teachers and students of local schools in particular, she had become a witness of favorable conditions created for them to teach and be taught in accordance with modern standards.

It was also mentioned that still existing problems would be solved as soon as possible.
