ONE MORE DRUG GANG APPREHENDED

One more drug gang, which had transported over 77 kilograms of narcotic substances from Iran to Azerbaijan, has been apprehended as a result of joint search and investigative operations by the Ministry of National Security and the State Frontier Service of Azerbaijan.

The gang members include citizens of Azerbaijan and Iran.

Nearly 3 kg of heroin, more than 9.3 kg of opium and 65.3 kg of hashish were found at home of Asgar Dadashov, a resident of the Azerbaijani city of Lankaran.

Investigation continues into the case.
