Order of Friendship of Azerbaijan presented to Russian film director

Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu has read out a decree of President Ilham Aliyev awarding the outstanding Russian film director Nikita Mikhalkov with the Order of Friendship (Dostluq) and has handed over the Order to the film director. Polad Bulbuloglu presented an order to Nikita Mikhalkov at the solemn event marking the 70th anniversary of the Russian film director.
Nikita Mikhalkov thanked President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for the highest award and recalled his meeting with the Head of State recently held in Baku. Nikita Mikhalkov said they reached an agreement on shooting joint cinema about Alexander Griboyedov. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin attended the event and congratulated Nikita Mikhaklov.
The Russian film director has recently been awarded "Dostluq" (Friendship) Order by the President of Azerbaijan.
