Participants of 65th PABSEC General Assembly visit Fuzuli, Shusha and Khankendi

Participants of the 65th plenary session of the General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), held in Baku, visited the districts of Fuzuli, Shusha and Khankendi.
The parliamentarians first arrived at Fuzuli International Airport, where they were briefed on the destruction caused by Armenian forces during nearly 30 years of occupation, as well as the restoration efforts launched by Azerbaijan following the district’s liberation.
The delegation then proceeded to the city of Shusha. While touring Shusha, the PABSEC members learned about the city's restoration and construction efforts. They visited landmarks such as Jidir Duzu Plain, and the "Shot Monuments".
The parliamentary delegation then toured Khankendi. They viewed the Victory Square, where employees of the Office of the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi, and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, provided an overview of the city’s history and significance.
The delegation was accompanied by members of Azerbaijan`s delegation to the PABSEC, including Chairman of the Labor and Social Policy Committee of the Milli Majlis, as well as the Social and Humanitarian Policy Committee of the PABSEC, Musa Guliyev, MPs Sabina Salmanova, Rizvan Nabiyev, Gunay Aghamali, Zaur Shukurov, Vugar Iskandarov and Mahir Suleymanli.
