PARTICIPANTS OF ICAO`S REGIONAL MEETING DISCUSS FLIGHT SAFETY
Baku, 10 February (AZERTAC). Participants of the regional meeting of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) discussed in Baku a creation of the single information system on flight safety in ICAO member states as well as proposals to prevent diversions during the flights.
Proposals of Baku meeting will be put forward during the flight safety conference, which is to take place in ICAO headquarters in Montreal, Canada, head of ICAO`s Regional Director on Europe and North Atlantic Karsten Theil told journalists.
Mr. Theil said report, which is to be prepared at the conference, will be put on the ICAO General Assembly`s agenda.
The event brought together over 70 representatives from 20 countries of Europe and Asia.
