First advisor at the embassy of Poland to Ukraine Voisekh Zayonchovskiy told a press conference in Kiev that his country is interested in realizing the “Odessa-Brodi” project, AzerTAj correspondent learnt from the Main Department of the Information Policy of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine. However, Poland is not the major player in this project. Everything depends on Ukraine’s decision, he said..

The diplomat noted that realization of the project is divided in some phases implying transportation of oil through Slovakia to Czech oil refining pants or by railway to Poland. According to V. Zayonchovskiy, the detailed elaboration will be possible as soon as Ukraine makes a final decision on the route of the oil transportation. Government of Ukraine keeps its decision to use the “Odessa-Brodi” route but there are no reports on any oil to pump the pipeline. Only after the pipeline is filled it will be possible to talk about the launch of the project, Polish diplomat added.
