PREMIER MEETS PAKISTANI MILITARY DELEGATION
The Premier noted greeting the guests that the friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan had been given a greater impetus after the recent official visit of President Pervez Musharraf to Azerbaijan. The talks held and bilateral interstate documents signed during the visit have laid a solid foundation for further strengthening and deepening of the interrelations.
Speaking of the active cooperation in the framework of international organizations, the Prime Minister pointed out the devoted stance and support the brotherly country has been rendering to Azerbaijan, and expressed deep gratitude to the Pakistani leadership.
Mr. Mohammad Aziz Khan thanked the Premier for the hearty welcome accorded here to the Pakistani delegation, and emphasized his current visit is a kind of realization of the agreements reached during President Pervez Musharraf’s visit to Azerbaijan.
Touching upon various aspects of bilateral cooperation, he pointed out the necessity to develop relations in trade, economic and military spheres.
Present at the meeting was Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Eynulla Madatli.
