PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV, KING ABDULLAH II INAUGURATE 2nd JORDANIAN EXHIBITION
Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev and King Abdullah II of Jordan have today inaugurated the second Jordanian Exhibition at the International Marine Passenger Terminal in Baku.
The two leaders who were accompanied by their spouses - Azerbaijan`s first lady Mehriban Aliyeva and Queen Rania of Jordan - cut the ribbon symbolizing the start of the three-day event aimed at exploring ways of boosting bilateral cooperation.
Afterwards, President Ilham Aliyev and King Abdullah viewed a variety of products put on display by Jordanian companies.
Later the same day, the King of Jordan visited the training and education center of Azerbaijan`s Special State Protection Service.
The center was built according to President Ilham Aliyev`s decree, and meets modern standards.
It has soldiers` and officers` quarters, canteens, interactive shooting range and other military facilities.
Jordan`s King watched training exercises of special troops, including anti-terror and combat engineer units.
Abdullah II also was in the shooting range where he shot at a target.
Afterwards, the Jordanian King viewed heavy equipment, and signed the center`s guest book.
