PRESIDENT OF IRAN RECEIVED CHAIRMAN OF THE CLERICAL OFFICE OF CAUCASUS MOSLEM
During the meeting, president of Iran noted that his visit to Azerbaijan would play important role not only in the political and economic, but also have strong impetus on the cultural and moral links.
Sheik-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh said that Azerbaijan is interested in Iran’s all-round development. He reminded that the national leader of Azerbaijan has many times recommended the Caucasus Clerical office of Moslems to pay special attention on the relations with Iran. Successor of Heydar Aliyev’s policy President Ilham Aliyev also adheres this line, Pashazadeh stressed.
Also was exchanged a number of other questions representing mutual interest.
