Permit me to address You with the expressions of gratitude on the day of 81st anniversary of birthday of the outstanding son of Azerbaijan people, Heydar Alirza oglu Aliyev.
All life and activity of President Heydar Aliyev is a bright example to true patriotism, and endless service to the motherland and people.
His civil heroism, rich experience, fortitude and selfless labor for welfare of his nation has gained great accomplishments in the social and economic life of Azerbaijan people.
Heydar Aliyev has a unique and unforgotten role in strengthening and development of the traditional friendship between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Georgia.
Undoubtedly, should not there be his wish and titanic efforts, the realization of the great power projects, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipelines would not be possible, and therefore, naming of the oil pipeline after Heydar Aliyev was joyfully welcomed in Georgia.
I think that worthy continuation of the strategic partnership founded by Heydar Aliyev will be a bright monument to his memory.
Permit me once again to congratulate You and the entire people of Azerbaijan on this landmark day - birthday of Heydar Aliyev.
